For over fifteen years CMCS has established itself as a prime provider of counsellor in-service training which focuses on issues and needs in ministers and their families.
Each year from Autumn to Spring we arrange presentations of a Saturday workshop in different locations around the country - in alphabetical order these are Birmingham, Exeter, London, Manchester, and York.
These Workshops are open to all interested counsellors, but with a priority booking period and reduced fee for those who are members of the CMCS Register of Counsellors.
Next series of Workshops
For 2019 to 2020 we will be looking at Recognising Spiritual Abuse : What is it, what should you look out for, and what helps with recovery? The facilitator will be Gillie Jenkinson.
Bookings for the 2019 to 2020 Workshops are now open for counsellors on the CMCS Register.
Details, and a link for booking a place, were sent to all counsellors on the CMCS Register in the July 2019 Bulletin.
The dates and venues are:
30 Nov 2019 – Birmingham - Carrs Lane Church
8 Feb 2020 – Exeter – South Street Baptist Church
7 March 2020 – York – St Bede’s Pastoral Centre
4 April 2020 – Manchester – Luther King House
