2018-19 Workshops

The current series of CPD Workshops is now in full swing, taking place in five venues (Manchester, Exeter, York, Birmingham and London). The theme relates to the relationship between counselling and faith, and is being led by Rachel Hudson, under the title "God in the Room".

Change of Service Coordinator

With Ian Millgate's retirement on 20 July 2018, the role of Service Co-ordinator has been passed to another member of the Baptist Union Ministries Team staff, Hilary Mason. She can be contacted via the Service Co-ordinator email address.

Diocese of Exeter

The Diocese of Exeter has joined the Dioceses of Southwark, Leeds and Sheffield in deciding to offer subsidised counselling to their ministers through CMCS, as their previous arrangements were coming to an end.  Our partnership with the Diocese of Exeter takes effect from 1 January 2019 and details will be added to the Eligibility section of this website as soon as possible.  Until then, please refer to one of our Area Co-ordinators if you are with the Diocese of Exeter and need to check whether you are eligible for counselling through CMCS.
